Ogilvie's Syndrome: Not So Uncommon
Main Article Content
Abstract
Colonic pseudo obstruction or Ogilvie's syndrome is not as uncommon an entity as is generally thought. It was first described in 1948 and since then the number of diagnosed and documented cases total only a few hundred. We describe three additional cases seen during one year by a surgical team. All three cases were managed surgically with one fatality.
