FAT EMBOLISM SYNDROME: A CASE REPORT

Abstract
A young motorcyclist, who had met a road traffic accident resulting in multiple fractures, later
developed fat embolism syndrome. He had to be instituted mechanical ventilation for hypoxemia and
deteriorating levels of consciousness and was rendered vigorous management for his critical general
condition.
