Study of Rhesus Phenotype Distribution

Abstract
Three thousands individuals were tested for Rh-phenotypes. The phenotype CCDee had maximum frequency amongst Rh + ve individuals while amongst Rh – ve cases CCdee was having maximum prevalence. The genes E and e are rarely found in our population so transfusion reaction due to development of anti-E and anti-e antibodies can take place.
