Degenerative Changes In Tests Due To Fumazone Poisoning
Main Article Content
Abstract
In this research a pesticide fumazone was given to rabbits orally to see its toxic effects on their tests.
After two months stroma was increased and basement membrane of seminiferous tubules was thickened. Spermatogenic cells were showing pyknotic nuclei.
After three months karyorhexis and karyolysis was seen in spermatogenic cells. Stroma had further increased. Basement membrane of seminiferous tubules was further thickened.
At the end of the experiment, spermatogenic cells had completely degenerated and lumen of seminiferous tubules was full of cell debris. The stroma and parenchyma was infiltrated with lymphocytes.
