Diet and Appendicitis

Abstract
A study to analyse 200 cases of Acute appendicitis (A.A) was carried out to correlate diet in the causation of A.A. A number of hypotheses have been discussed. It has been observed that people having diets low in fibre have higher incidence of A.A. High Potato consumption too is blamed for high incidence. Other factors including infection, hygiene and environment are discussed.
