Abstract
The Immediate management of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) entails accurate and prompt diagnosis of AMI based on history. ECG and cardiac enzymes quick assessment and early referral to coronary care unit (CCU) for monitoring and definitive treatment. Management inlcudes general measure and pharmacotherapy. Effort has been made to describe various strategies and drugs under the headings of rationale and evidence, indications, protocol and dosage and pecaution.
